Pizza Hut is changing its ingredients
Pizza Hut is changing its ingredients so that its customer will have a healthier and tastier pizza. Pizza Hut announced in its press release that it’s throwing out all the fake seasoning that it’s been using.
There will no longer be any additives, artificial flavors, and colors added to the pepperoni, sausage, meat lovers, or cheese pizzas.
And yes, the pastas, chicken wings, stuff crust, and cheesy bread will also be free of the fake seasoning.
CEO David Gibbs praised the company’s decision to improve the ingredients. Gibbs is quoted in the press release as saying, “Today’s consumer more than ever before wants to understand the ingredients that make up the foods that they enjoy…We are committed to doing this the right way and to make the changes that ensure only the highest quality and greatest flavors in our food.”
Some may be wondering how this will affect Pizza Hut’s competitors. Well, Dominos hasn’t said anything about changing its ingredients but the company did change its name from Dominos Pizza to Dominos.
As for Papa Johns, the company’s preference for natural ingredients is embedded in its motto, “Better Ingredients, Better Pizza.”
